What is included

The total adds the tires, mounting and balancing, valve stem and disposal fees, sales tax on the tires, and an optional alignment. Cost per mile divides the total by how many miles the tires should last. Years of life is that mileage divided by how much you drive each year.

Tips

Always ask shops for an out-the-door price. Tire life is an estimate, and rotating tires on schedule and keeping them properly inflated helps you reach it. Read more: How much do new tires cost?
